We cook vegetarian because we believe that quality doesn't come from deprivation, but from awareness.
Our kitchen works with the rhythm of the seasons, with regional ingredients, and with the idea that taste carries an attitude.
Origin
In 1999, on a quiet side street in what was then known as "Rudolfscrime," we dared something unheard of: a vegetarian restaurant in Vienna.
What began as a restaurant evolved over the years into a space for encounter, exchange, and contemporary art.
This development wasn't a concept – it was a consequence.

Art & Gallery
In 2015, we opened doors across the street – not for more tables, but for art. The HOLLEREI Gallery is our "local art supplier": a place that brings contemporary art from the elite center to the 15th district. For people who might be buying their first original. Without intimidation, without gallery attitude.
Art Dinners
Once a month, the gallery becomes a dining room. Surrounded by works from the current exhibition, we serve a multi-course menu – each course inspired by the art on the walls. These are evenings where strangers leave as friends.

Margit & André Stolzlechner
Married for over 29 years, hosts since 1999. Margit had the vision – a restaurant that reflects her values. André had the courage to take the plunge together. Together they turned a crazy idea on a forgotten alley into a place where regulars feel like friends.
We believe in signature over arbitrariness and personality over staging.
